FUNDING

Under the National Recovery and Resilience Plan, Action 1: “Support for micro, small and medium-sized enterprises in processing or marketing agricultural, fishery, and aquaculture products,” an operation entitled “Purchase of modern equipment for the onion processing plant” will be carried out, aimed at strengthening short supply chains. The total value of the investment is PLN 27,535,502, while the amount of funding will be PLN 13,767,751. The project will include the purchase of essential equipment for business operations. As a result of the operation, the following indicator will be achieved: SMEs that implemented projects for the modernization of infrastructure and equipment.

After the investment is completed, the plant equipped with modern devices for onion processing will carry out activities focused on processing onions for subsequent sale to both domestic and foreign entities. This will increase the company’s competitiveness and strengthen its market position. Moreover, the implementation of the investment will significantly improve the company's operations and increase its production capacity, which in turn will positively impact the purchase volume of agricultural products directly from farmers.

The implementation of the project, through the equipping of a vegetable processing plant — especially for onions — with a modern, fully automated production line and low-emission means of transport, will enhance the enterprise's competitiveness and strengthen the position of the SME on the market by improving profitability and increasing market share. Additionally, the implementation of the planned investment will allow for planning further steps enabling the continued development of the company.
