Onions have been cultivated for over 5,000 years, and their benefits were known when civilization was forming. Thus, the onion is one of the oldest plants known to humanity. It has valuable medicinal properties and culinary values. Onions owe their uniqueness to their distinctive high taste and dietary qualities, as well as medicinal properties. Onions are rich in vitamins B6, B2, B1, PP, and contain nutritious mineral salts, magnesium, iron, sodium, zinc, potassium, phosphorus, calcium.
